A Wick alternative: what really changes
Wick is a reference for anti-nuke. Leaving it only makes sense for a clear reason: a non-English server, a need beyond security, or a paid feature you want to avoid.

What is the best Wick alternative?
OriusBot is a Wick alternative if you want one free bot that adds image and file analysis, tickets, leveling and Twitch alerts to anti-nuke. For pure security on a large English-speaking server, Security Bot is the closest alternative.
What Wick does very well
- Full anti-nuke: channels, roles, bans, kicks and webhooks are watched, with a panic mode.
- Quarantine: a nuker loses their power without an automatic ban.
- Heat: message activity is measured, with escalating timeouts.
- Restore: its Restore System uses regular backups, excluding messages and role assignments.
- Verification: captcha, web or instant, for everyone or only suspicious accounts.
Its Premium page shows 51,000 raids stopped and 37 million nuke attempts: experience a recent bot does not have.

Switching with no protection gap
- Add OriusBot and place its role above the roles it manages.
- Run
/setup, then/anti-raidand/audit. - Declare your trusted bots before turning off the old protection.
- Turn off Wick's anti-nuke and verification, then enable OriusBot's.
- Test with a second account, then remove Wick.
Frequently asked questions
Is Wick free?
Wick can be added for free and offers Premium and Diamond plans. The pages we read do not detail which features sit where, so check with Wick.
Can I keep Wick with OriusBot?
Yes, if only one handles anti-nuke. Two anti-nukes can punish each other or undo each other's actions.
Is Wick safe?
Like any security bot, it asks for high permissions. Our guide on checking whether a bot is safe gives the method.
