What is the best anti-raid bot for Discord in 2026?
Every anti-raid bot promises to stop everything, and no independent test can separate them. So here is what can be checked: how they detect, how they respond and what they do not cover.

Transparency: this comparison is published by Orius, the publisher of OriusBot, which appears in it. Other bots' figures are their own claims, read on their sites on November 6, 2026. We found no independent benchmark.
Which anti-raid bot should you choose?
For free anti-raid with no setup, Beemo is the simplest. For a server exposed to nukes, Wick and Security Bot are the usual references. For one free bot that also handles captcha, malicious files, tickets and leveling in four languages, choose OriusBot.

What separates a good anti-raid bot from a bad one
Does it only count, or does it compare?
A fixed threshold, such as five joins in ten seconds, mistakes a raid for a streamer's audience or a busy evening. You need a threshold adapted to the server's normal rate and a second signal.
What happens to real members during the attack?
Locking everything stops the raid, and your new members with it. A precise response refuses only the accounts that look like the attack.
Does it catch those already inside?
Detection always comes a few accounts too late. Check that the bot removes those first arrivals, and that it can undo its actions after a mistake.
Does it stand down by itself?
Attacks often happen at night. A server left locked until the staff wakes up keeps losing members long after the raid has ended.
Bot by bot
Wick: strengths and alternatives
Wick is one of the bots most often cited for anti-nuke on large English-speaking servers. Its version 5 and its Premium and Diamond plans aim at complete protection. Look at a Wick alternative if you want native support for another language, or if the features you need sit in its paid plan.
Security Bot: answering "Security Bot vs Wick"
Security Bot publishes the details of its method: a join score, Beast Mode when the global score passes a threshold, a recovery system and a customizable captcha. Both cover raids and nukes. Security Bot documents its settings more openly, Wick has the longer reputation: test both on a trial server.
Beemo
Its argument is simplicity: anti-raid advertised as free forever, running with no configuration. Its home page mentions neither anti-nuke nor captcha. It is a good safety net for a small server, to be completed for the rest.
RaidProtect
The French reference since 2018: raid mode, captcha, anti-spam, scam images and a honeypot. See our RaidProtect alternative page for details.
OriusBot
Its anti-raid learns each server's join rate, then looks for accounts that resemble one another: born in the same half hour, usernames made in series, new accounts with no picture. During a siege it pauses invites, refuses only those accounts, removes the ones already inside and stands down after ten quiet minutes.
Our measurements: on our bench of simulated scenarios, about 230,000 events: no innocent member punished, 97 to 100% of raiders removed depending on the scenario, 13 out of 13 nukes stopped. This bench was used to tune the engine, so it is a control, not proof under real conditions.
Its limits: a recent bot, few servers, little public feedback. Like any anti-raid, it does not spot bought, aged and varied accounts on arrival: automod stops those when they post.

Which bot for which server
| Your situation | Our advice |
|---|---|
| Small server, no wish to configure anything | Beemo, or OriusBot with its basic protection |
| Large English-speaking server, worried about nukes | Wick or Security Bot, tested on a trial server |
| French-speaking server | RaidProtect or OriusBot |
| Streamer: big waves of legitimate joins | A bot with a learned rate, not a fixed threshold |
| One free bot for everything | OriusBot |
Frequently asked questions
What is the best free anti-raid bot?
Beemo advertises anti-raid free forever with no setup, and OriusBot includes anti-raid, anti-nuke and captcha for free. Other bots offer a free base and a paid plan: check what it reserves before choosing.
Does Discord protect against raids by itself?
Partly. Verification level, AutoMod and pausing invites all help, but they are manual or static. A bot adds automatic detection and a response, even when nobody is online.
Do I need several anti-raid bots?
No. Two bots punishing the same join create duplicates and make diagnosis harder. Choose one for security and keep the others for other functions.
What is the difference between anti-raid and anti-nuke?
Anti-raid stops a wave of accounts coming in from outside. Anti-nuke stops an account already inside, with rights, that destroys the server from within.
